Property Overview

In 2008, the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (“Tribe”) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with the Bonneville Power Administration (“Bonneville” or “BPA”) for acquisition and management of habitat for the benefit of resident and anadromous fish (CCT Resolution 2008-032). The purpose of the MOA is to provide the mechanisms for BPA to fund, and the Tribe to implement, the protection and mitigation of resident and/or anadromous fish through the acquisition and management of appropriate habitat. The Tribe’s Fish and Wildlife Program is currently responsible for identifying appropriate habitat acquisitions, for acquiring these habitat properties, and for post-acquisition habitat and property management.

Under the terms of the MOA, the Tribe agreed to develop a property management plan for each of the properties as part of the post-acquisition management process. In developing the property management plans, the Tribe requests input from the general public, landowners of adjacent properties, and other resources managers, as appropriate. This website is designed to provide property information and management plan proposals on a property-by-property basis, and allow an opportunity for feedback and comments.
